How to Dress Long Legs/Short Torso
Having long legs/short torso body proportions is certainly not a big problem but rather an asset and you should take advantage of it. Of course, if you have long legs you should bring the attention to them. This is one of your pluses so make sure you put the accent on your lower body. Wear long skirts, skirts with pleats, details and patterns, mini skirts (if you want to show off your toned legs), also, experiment with hosiery in different colours or with patterns. You also look amazing in pants so play with different cuts, proportions and don’t shy away from patterns. Anything that brings the attention to your lower body is an advantage for you.
However, you should also try to create a balanced body silhouette by visually elongating your torso. In general try to bypass your natural waistline. Avoid high waists and big belts because this will make your short waist appear even shorter. Choose drop waistlines, hip belts, longer tops and sweaters and longer jackets to create length. For your bottoms always opt for low waist to ensure that your upper body will not look too short.
