Also, pick wide, off shoulders necklines, and big collars that will emphasize the shoulder line. You can definitely afford details like ruffles, pleats, or patterns and prints for your tops. However make sure your bottoms are kept darker, simple, and tight. Wear straight pants and avoid pleats and gathers at the waist and hips area.  Skinny or straight jeans, pencil skirts, pants with vertical stripes and A-like skirts are all good choices for a triangle body type.
